Terms

Use FaceMint responsibly.

Last updated: September 4, 2026. These starter terms describe the intended use of FaceMint. The operator should have them reviewed and adapted for the jurisdiction, business model, refund policy, and services used before commercial launch.

1. Synthetic portraits

FaceMint is designed to generate fictional adult portraits. Output is created by AI and may contain mistakes, artifacts, or coincidental similarities to real people. FaceMint does not guarantee that every image is unique in every possible respect.

2. Acceptable use

You may use the service for lawful purposes. You must not use FaceMint to impersonate a real person, commit fraud, create deceptive identity documents, fabricate endorsements, misrepresent a real person's participation, harass others, or violate applicable law or third-party rights.

3. Availability and limits

Generation can be delayed, rate-limited, changed, paused, or unavailable because of provider outages, moderation, abuse prevention, operating costs, maintenance, or technical limitations. Features and refresh intervals may change.

4. Premium features

When Premium is enabled, payments are processed through Stripe Checkout. The exact price, billing period, included features, and refund terms presented at checkout should be reviewed before purchase. This starter implementation unlocks Premium for a verified browser session. Persistent accounts and subscription lifecycle management require additional production infrastructure.

5. Generated content

You are responsible for checking that your intended use of a generated portrait is lawful and permitted by the rules of any platform where you publish it. Do not remove or contradict AI-origin disclosures when doing so would mislead people.

6. No warranty

The starter service is provided on an "as available" basis without a promise that every generation will be error-free, uninterrupted, suitable for a particular purpose, or free of accidental resemblance.

7. Changes

The service and these terms may be changed as FaceMint develops. Material changes should be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
